Tucson Physical Therapy
If you live in or near Tucson, there is probably a Tucson physical therapy practice near you. Like any medical professional practice, all of them probably operate under the same basic professional licensing requirements. While specific education and certification is required to run a business with the title, ‘physical therapy’, there are other things not as easily noticed that can set a practice apart.
When you first come to see the professional staff at APM and Tygiel PT, you can expect a thorough evaluation. While we are interested in the medical issue that brought you to us, we are also interested in your lifestyle, activity level, diet and social support systems. All of those things will prove to be important factors as you recover from your injury or surgery.
We won’t leave you alone (in a good way). While you are receiving treatment from us, we will explain what techniques and exercises are best for you and why. In the gym with our first-rate exercise equipment, we won’t leave you by yourself to struggle or suffer through an exercise cycle. Our therapists will help you practice the exercises you may need to continue at home and offer feedback on correct form or technique.
All our Tucson physical therapy staff members have years of experience in healthcare. This means that your care is entrusted solely to people who are familiar with pain and injury as well as treatments to lessen the pain and improve function over time.
We will answer all your questions about physical therapy; what to expect, how long it should take, why do I need to do so many exercises, will you talk with my doctor, how often do I need to be seen? If there is a question we don’t know the answer for, we will find it for you.
At APM and Tygiel PT, you won’t feel like a number. You will know you are a valued part of what we do.
