Amanda Posey | Applied Physical Medicine

Amanda was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, before making her way to the West Coast. She began her healthcare journey as an EMT in the San Francisco Bay Area, later relocating to Seattle, Washington, where she worked as a life enrichment coach for individuals with dementia. There, she developed and led dance fitness classes and taught fine motor art skills to enhance cognitive and physical engagement.

Her growing interest in physical therapy led her to become a PT tech in Mill Creek while pursuing a degree in biology. Eventually, Amanda returned to Tucson to complete her education, earning an Associate of Occupational Science degree in Physical Therapy.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, rock climbing, and going to the gym. She also values quiet moments at home—reading a good book, playing music, or relaxing with her cat. Amanda is especially passionate about manual therapy, including techniques such as myofascial release and cupping. Her clinical interests focus on neurological disorders and sports rehabilitation, where she is dedicated to helping patients restore function and improve quality of life.
