Blake Moreland, PT, DPT
Dr. Blake Moreland has been a licensed Physical Therapist since Summer 2016 and has been a part of the Tucson community since January 2018. Born and raised in Carson City, NV, Dr. Moreland spent many of his years in the Pacific Northwest. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, WA in May 2013, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Midwestern University- Glendale, AZ in May 2016. Blake has a diverse practice background that includes experience with school-system-based pediatrics, advanced wound care, geriatrics, balance rehab, and orthopedics. Blake is also currently a certified Clinical Instructor for Physical Therapy students through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Guest Lecturer/Adjunct Professor on the faculty of the PT program at Midwestern University.
As a 4-year college soccer player at the NCAA Division II level, he has always been passionate about working with active people and athletes. Since 2019, Blake is certified in Perineural Dry Needling through the Institute of Manual & Integrative Therapy in Casa Grande, AZ. Helping patients get back to training, performing at high levels, and participating in activities which they enjoy, fuels his thirst for ongoing education, clinical experience, and growth as a Physical Therapist.
When not treating patients, you can find Blake playing soccer around town, attending concerts and live theater, and spending quality time with his wonderful dog, Midnight.
